AdMob revenue calculator

Estimate what your app or game could earn with Google AdMob from your daily users, ad formats and audience, then compare AdMob with AppLovin MAX, Unity LevelPlay and five other networks.

Websites are estimated per 1,000 pageviews (page RPM), which already counts every ad on the page. Managed networks like Mediavine and Raptive choose the placements for you, so there are no format controls here.

About Google AdMob

Facts checked October 20, 2026, with links to each network's own pages.

What AdMob offers

AdMob is Google's ad network and mediation platform for mobile apps. It supports six formats (AdMob help): banner, interstitial, rewarded, rewarded interstitial, native advanced and app open. The calculator covers all of them except rewarded interstitial. Switch formats on and off above, and set how many of each a user sees per day.

AdMob can also mediate other networks, letting several networks bid for each impression through bidding and waterfall mediation. The calculator estimates AdMob on its own.

How AdMob pays

Each month's estimated earnings are finalized on the 3rd of the following month. If your balance has reached your payment threshold by the 20th, Google issues payment on or around the 21st. Smaller balances roll over to the next month.

How this estimate works

Revenue is daily users × ads per user × fill rate × eCPM ÷ 1,000, summed across formats. The format eCPMs are set within public 2024 benchmarks from Tenjin × CAS and Appodeal, and the region and iOS/Android adjustments follow the same data (sources in How the estimate is built). AdMob's network multiplier (1.0) and fill rate (95%) are our own estimates.

Rewarded video usually earns the most per view. Banners earn little per view, but they refresh often. Our format comparison explains how to combine them.

How the estimate is built

  1. Impressions. Traffic × ads shown per user × the network's fill rate. [2]
  2. eCPM. A base price per 1,000 impressions for each format, adjusted for geography, category, platform and network. [3]
  3. Revenue. Impressions ÷ 1,000 × eCPM, summed across formats, scaled to days, months and years. Websites use pageviews ÷ 1,000 × RPM. [1]

Sources

Format eCPMs, the geography gap and the iOS/Android gap are set to fall within the ranges in [3], which uses 2024 data, the latest public tables by country. Native eCPMs, category and network multipliers, fill rates and website RPMs are our own estimates: we couldn't find a neutral public source for them. Network entry rules were checked in October 2026 and change often, so confirm them with each network before applying.

    Google AdMob FAQ

How much does AdMob pay per 1,000 impressions?

It depends heavily on format, country and platform. In the Tenjin × CAS data for Q2 2024, US rewarded video ran about 4 (iOS) to

0 (Android), while US banners were around

. Most apps earn less than US figures because their users are spread across many countries.

    When does AdMob pay?

Around the 21st of each month, for the previous month's finalized earnings, once your balance passes your payment threshold (AdMob payments).

    What is ARPDAU?

Average revenue per daily active user: daily ad revenue divided by daily users. It's the best single number to optimize. The calculator shows it next to your monthly estimate. More in our metrics guide.

    AdMob or AppLovin MAX?

Both run auctions where many networks compete. Our mediation guide compares them, and the ranking on this page compares estimates for your settings.
